The café is an open inviting space with stunning views serving light lunch time fare, beautiful dinners on Friday and Saturday nights, delicious morning and afternoon teas and great breakfasts.

Enjoy the cool Latin jazz of "Chiera" in the front courtyard on Sundays, if the weather is fine, or dine in the Gallery and catch the magnificent views of the Sydney Basin.

Sassafras Creek is now licenced. Our beautiful wine list focuses on wines from the Mudgee / Orange region.

As a member of Hawkesbury Harvest, our Head Chef, Thomas Ege, enjoys the opportunity to use local produce extensively in the menus. What can be more delightful than fresh salad greens, vegetables and herbs picked on the river flats in the early morning and served on the plate at lunch time!

Valentine's Day Dinner

The balcony and gallery offer fabulous views as dusk falls and the lights come up over Sydney. Head Chef, Thomas Ege has designed a romantic dinner menu to set the mood while you choose from the boutique wine list from the Orange Mudgee region.
